Yunfei (Felix) Cao
Originally from Shanghai, China, Felix brings a strong combination of immigration experience, legal training and multilingual abilities to Clarke Immigration Law. His first language is Mandarin (Simplified and Traditional), and he is also fluent in Japanese and English, with additional proficiency in Shanghainese. Prior to joining the firm, Felix served for many years as an Immigration Officer, developing practical insight into immigration procedures, decision-making processes and the application of the IRPA and IRPR. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
As a Legal Assistant at Clarke Immigration Law, Felix works primarily on refugee matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), including cases at the RPD, RAD, IAD and ID. He also prepares a wide range of applications to IRCC and assists with Manitoba’s Business Investment Stream (MPNP-BIS), supporting clients through complex processes with diligence and clarity. Within the firm, Felix is also relied upon for solving various office technology issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Felix values integrity as a guiding principle in his work and strives to never lose sight of his original intention to help those seeking safety and opportunity in Canada.
