Full Service Immigration Law Firm

Professional staff at our full service immigration law firm provide a range of immigration law services to individuals and businesses. We work closely with our clients to manage goals, issues and expectations. We promise not to mislead or misinform our clients. Canadian immigrations laws are constantly changing and we strive to stay on top of changes in the legislation – so you don’t have to.

The first step is to contact our office and schedule a consultation. The second step is to agree on Services and Fees. We will then draft the Retainer Agreement and all the details will be explained. Your deposit is held in our Trust Account, monitored by the Law Society of Manitoba, and we only get paid until after the work is done.

We work hard and we know that you work hard to earn your income. We promise that all fees will be explained and the fees charged will be 100% transparent. If you have any questions or concerns about any Statement of Account or any disbursements, please contact our office immediately.

Service Details

Consultation

We provide consultations of either 25 mins or 50 mins, depending on complexity where clients may ask ANY and ALL questions related to Canadian Immigration Law. You will meet with our lawyer, Alastair Clarke, and he will provide guidance based on your circumstances.

The consultation is your time to get information about anything related to Canadian immigration and refugee law. You should make sure that you are comfortable with Alastair’s answers. Bring a friend or a family member for support, if you wish. Immigration issues may be stressful and supporters may also be beneficial for emotional support. You are free to record the consultation, if you wish, to ensure you can replay the guidance for future reference.

Permanent Resident Applications

As a full service immigration law firm, we assist with all types of immigration applications to become a Permanent Resident of Canada.

Note that the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program was re-booted in 2015 and the Manitoba government introduced significant changes. We assist clients in both the MPNP Program for Skilled Worker and also the MPNP Program for Business. Based on our experience with these application and our personal relationships with staff and agents, we advocate for our clients to make sure they achieve their goals and contribute to Manitoba.

Temporary Resident Applications

Over the years, we have processed Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs) from clients in Mexico, Iran, Russia, China, Vietnam, Philippines and many other countries. We work with staff at international Visa Application Centres (VACs) to facilitate the efficient processing of applications.

We are an approved Representative through the CIC Portal Enrolment process. We will do our best to ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible.

Clients who have issues of past deportations or inadmissibility issues, may need a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) to enter Canada, as well as the TRV. We have extensive experience processing TRP applications, and Alastair provided training on TRP applications for lawyers and paralegals in the Legal Aid Ontario clinic system in Toronto.
