The Liberal Party of Canada has won a majority government. After many of years of Conservative rule, we are looking forward to working with newly-elected Justin Trudeau and his future government. Over the course of the last 10 years, there have been many changes to Canadian immigration law that has tarnished Canada’s reputation around the world. I hope, and expect, that the Liberal government will work to reverse these changes.

Alastair Clarke had the opportunity to meet Justin Trudeau in Montreal in the summer of 2015. During the meeting, he was a perfect gentleman and he listened to my concerns about the state of immigration and refugee laws in Canada. We look forward to his announcement of appointing a new Minister for the department and we will make every effort to work with the Minister on behalf of our clients.
