Success: TRV (inside Canada)

We know the Canadian immgration system can be complex and difficult to navigate. Last month, an int’l student came to our office. He has been studying in Canada for many years and he wants to spend time with his family at home. He is in Canada on a Study Permit. He applied for a Visitor Record so that he could leave Canada and come back to his studies. If you are familiar with our system, you will know that he applied for the wrong document. A Visitor Record does not give a FN the right to re-enter. He came to us for help and we helped with an expedited TRV application from inside Canada. It was approved and he can now go and visit his parents.
